Sinigang Fried Rice

The broth of sinigang compliments fried rice perfectly

My wife whipped up some of her favorite food yesterday sinigang. I love the flavor of the broth. The flavor of tamarind in this dish just hits the spot. I think that anyone that wants to go deeper into Filipino cuisine than just adobo or pancit should check out sinigang.

I took the components of the leftover sinigang we had the night before and added it to garlic fried rice. It was a great decision because the flavor of fried rice fit perfectly with the tang of the sinigang broth. I also added a nice hard-boiled egg to end the dish on a perfect note.
